  • The phone number, email address, and basic background information of the interviewee
  • Whether you’d like to participate as a listener on the call (we tend to learn more information if your customer knows they’re only speaking with us, a third party, and may withhold info if you’re on the line)


  • After I purchase this service, what happens?
    Once you sign up, we’ll send you a short onboarding fact finding questionnaire. We’ll also schedule an initial kick-off call to discuss potential persona interview candidates.
  • What are the deliverables I should expect?
    After our meeting, you’ll get a document with the following persona details: background, demographics, identifiers, digital lifestyle, their personal and/or business goals, people, process, and technology challenges. If we record the meeting, we’ll give you access to the recording as well.
  • How long does the interview take?
    In most cases, our interviews last an hour. However, if we’re on a roll, and getting super high quality information, we will ask your customer for permission to extend the call by 10 or 15 minutes. You should expect the deliverables within a week from our persona research call.
  • Can I participate on the call?
    For sure. We just ask that you participate as a silent observer and allow us to conduct the interview. We tend to get more out of folks if you’re not in the room.
  • Can I request that you ask specific questions?
    Totally! We have a series of questions we would like to get answers to build your buyer persona profile, but you’re absolutely welcome to submit additional questions, and we’ll ask as many as time permits.
  • Who do you interview?
    We’ll interview your existing super fan clients or engaged prospects, if your business is just starting out or you’d like to identify a new persona you haven’t had a chance to define. We only ask that you pick a customer you love working with – and they love doing business with you.
